San Dieguito Union High School District

The 英语 Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC) makes recommendations regarding programs for students with second language needs.  The purpose of the ELAC is to provide parents of 英语 Learners opportunities to:

 

At San Dieguito Union High School District, our ELAC meets to discuss the diverse needs of our 英语 Learner students. We need you to come, share your feedback, and tell us how we can best support your child and family.

 

"The California Legislature is committed to assuring that parents/guardians of 英语 learners have a voice in the education of their children.  This belief is reflected in the passage of specific California Education Code (EC) and California Code of Regulation (CCR) sections requiring 英语 Learner Advisory 委员会 (ELAC) and District 英语 Learner Advisory 委员会 (DELAC) to be in place in schools and districts that educate 英语 learners”. 

 

Each school with 21 or more 英语 Learners is required to have an ELAC.
